This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled for Ask OSCAR, the OSCAR website experience, the OSCAR Calculator, the approved-source library, and related mobile app support workflows.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you use the website, widget, calculator, or app, we may collect:
- Selected role, selected state, and app or website workflow choices.
- Questions submitted to Ask OSCAR and related source-library interactions.
- Calculator inputs such as state, design flow, bedrooms, loading-rate assumptions, product family, and sizing notes.
- Professional contact information you choose to submit, such as name, company, email, phone number, project location, and project message.
- Basic technical data needed to operate and secure the service, such as request time, browser or device type, and error logs.
Homeowner use is self-service. The current workflow is not intended to capture homeowner contact details or route homeowners to Lowridge, distributors, or personal follow-up.
How We Use Information
We use information to provide role-aware and state-aware OSCAR guidance, answer from approved source material, operate the calculator and app, improve reliability, troubleshoot errors, and maintain internal CRM or analytics records for professional project notes.
Professional project notes may be stored for review and analytics. During this phase, saved professional notes are not automatically emailed or forwarded from the app unless the workflow clearly states otherwise.
AI and Approved Sources
Ask OSCAR may use AI service providers to generate responses. The intended answer source is the approved OSCAR source library, Lowridge-provided materials, and approved state or technical references loaded into the system. Users should verify final selection, design, permitting, and code compliance with a qualified professional and the applicable authority.
Service Providers
We may use trusted service providers for hosting, API routing, source-library storage, database services, email delivery, diagnostics, AI response generation, and app distribution. Current infrastructure may include Cloudflare, Supabase, OpenAI or other AI API providers, Resend, and Apple services.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared only as needed to operate the service, comply with law, protect the service, or support professional project workflows that a user initiates.
Homeowner contact details are not collected in the current homeowner workflow. Contractor notes may be kept for analytics and CRM records without automatic forwarding. Designers, engineers, regulators, distributors, or other professional users may be offered public Lowridge contact paths or project-support workflows when appropriate.
Your Choices
You may use public website resources without submitting professional contact information. If you submit contact information and want it corrected or removed, contact guy@guycollinsai.com.
Children
This service is intended for homeowners, contractors, designers, engineers, regulators, distributors, and other users seeking OSCAR product and design guidance. It is not directed to children.
Changes
We may update this policy as the website, app, source library, hosting, or client ownership model changes. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
